At Jinix Tech we strive to deliver high-quality IT solutions, custom software, and infrastructure services. This policy outlines the terms under which cancellations and refunds are handled for services purchased through our website (jinix.tech).

Cancellation Policy

1.1  Custom Software & Web Development Projects

  • Before Commencement: Clients may cancel a custom development or automation project before any technical work, design, or coding has officially begun. In this case, any upfront deposit paid will be fully refunded.
  • After Commencement: Once work has commenced, cancellations are still accepted; however, the client will be billed for the proportion of work already completed up to the cancellation date. If the initial deposit covers this completed work, no further payment is required, but the deposit becomes non-refundable.

1.2  Hosting, VPS & Library Automation Subscriptions

  • Recurring services, including Koha/DSpace hosting, VPS infrastructure, and ongoing maintenance retainers, can be cancelled at any time.
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted prior to your next billing cycle to avoid being charged for the upcoming period.
We do not provide prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations.
Refund Policy

2.1  Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds are strictly evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are generally only approved in the following situations:

  • A project is cancelled by the client prior to the commencement of any work.
  • An accidental duplicate payment is processed through our payment gateway.
  • We are unable to fulfil the agreed-upon project scope due to unforeseen technical limitations on our end.

2.2  Non-Refundable Services

Due to the nature of digital goods and the labour involved, the following are strictly non-refundable:

  • Delivered source code, completed software, and finalized app builds.
  • Completed project milestones that have already been approved by the client.
  • Active domain name registrations and SSL certificates.
  • Setup fees for cloud infrastructure and VPS deployments.

2.3  Processing Time

All approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used during the transaction.
